@@3dconnexion Hi thanks, Someone has answered on the forum thread for UE, 10.8.20 works in UE 5.3 ! but it also introduces a bug that makes blender nearly ususable !! the lock button always trigger the space bar in the viewport, instead of the assigned key !! (sent a support request but no idea how I'll be able to work in the next days..)

Starting with Unreal Engine 5.4, you can download the 3Dconnexion plugin directly from the UE marketplace: www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/3dconnexion-plugin-for-unreal-editor. This should simplify the installation/activation process. If you are still encountering issues or unexpected behavior, please do contact our Tech Support team who will troubleshoot this with you. @@3dconnexion Thanks ! that's practical, the workaround otherwise was to re-install 3DxWare after you've installed UE, as it's the 3DxWare insalation process that adds the driver to the UE installation folder, so any UE install or update I guess would not have the driver if done after 3DxWare install. But I had to Uninstall 3DxWare 10.8.20 as the support didn't manage to help (even if I sent all my prefs files) with the fact it triggered totally arbitrary keys in blender that didn't come from either apps, and installed 10.8.19 that works just fine in both apps. I hope 3DxWare won't stay cursed in blender post 10.8.20 as they're always a chance someone updates by mistake.

Hi Sam! You don't need the USB receiver in order to use the Bluetooth connectivity option. The USB receiver is just an additional way you can connect your device, should you wish to use this option 😊
